Kyle Ansberry

Hello everyone my name is Kyle Ansberry. I live 15min south of San Luis Obispo in a town called Grover Beach. I currently work as an Instructional Aid for the Special Education department at Arroyo Grande. In addition, I coach varsity football at AGHS. I am working on my single subject credential in History and plan to student teach in the Spring. Although History is often considered to be boring and unrelated to our modern societal needs, I believe that when taught with energy and alternative methods can be very enjoyable. From the module, and my in-class experiences, I understand how important warm-ups and guided [practices are to instruction. Also, I found the acronym “CATCH” to be a very useful reading strategy. Finally, it was a good reminder to differentiation of instruction changes from middle school to high school.
